Tried It All? Let’s Start Fresh
You’re not alone in this journey.
I help parents manage everyday behavioral challenges, reduce stress, and foster stronger, more connected relationships at home — all with proven, practical strategies.
Parent Therapy: Q&A
Compassionate, evidence-based support for behavior challenges, emotional regulation, and family connection.
What is Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and how can it help my family?
PCIT is an evidence-based approach where I guide you through structured interactions with your child to improve communication, strengthen your bond, and reduce disruptive behaviors. It’s highly effective for children ages 2–7 and can be adapted for older kids.
What do you mean by a “Flexible Parenting Method”?
Every child is different. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice—I adapt tools and strategies to your child’s needs, your parenting style, and your family’s values.
My child has PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance). Can you help?
Yes. I offer specialized support for PDA, focusing on reducing overwhelm, co-regulation, and creating accommodations that work with your child’s strengths.
How do you support children with anxiety?
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies to help children notice anxious thoughts, manage body sensations, and build coping skills they can use in daily life.
What is “Social Thinking” and why is it important?
Social Thinking helps kids understand perspectives, social expectations, and how their behavior affects others—key skills for friendships, school, and group activities.
My child struggles to manage big emotions. What can you do?
I teach emotional regulation skills for both children and parents, so you can respond calmly, recover faster after tough moments, and prevent escalation.
What is Collaborative Problem Solving?
It’s a respectful, skills-focused approach where we identify what’s behind the behavior and solve problems together, building trust and long-term independence.
